While brainstorming ideas for some new gemstone types I saw that the medals they gave out in the Olympics this year had a jade inlay in them that was gorgeous.  Inspiration struck!  There’s tons of different shades of Jade, it’s mind boggling.  Ages ago I made a hairpin from the Chinese symbol for Longevity, and it’s since been retired.  But inspired by the Jade I’m bringing it back with fresh textures for this jewelry set.

Men’s stuff!  I’ve been experimenting for a while with men’s jewelry and you men are impossible to fit.  You don’t have necks, they’re more like mountain slopes! 0.o  Anyhow ladies bring your dudes over - this is the first men’s necklace I’m selling and it rocks.  :)  I intend to do a men’s version of something in each set I make from now on.  Well most of them I hope.

I’ve picked 13 of the zillions of shades of Jade, and sourced the textures for them from actual real jade, and I’m also putting in some Onyx too for just a touch more versatility.  *wink*

Butterflies!!

I’ve been pretty much harrassed to make some butterfly jewelry and I’m finally ready to present to you a set I’m really proud of!  It’s an earrings and necklace set with a hair pin.  Each piece has a texture change script with twelve gem choices. Happy Olympics everyone!  I watched the opening ceremonies Friday night and was inspired to make this necklace.  We certainly all don’t agree on stuff but it’s nice that we can at least play nice together once in a while.  This is the Chinese symbol for Harmony, and the gemstones are in the Olympic colors.

Next up, I needed something dramatic for a pirate costume and cooked up this double stranded low dripping necklace, which I’m adding to the Tea Iron Cross accessory line.
